6 months old

Aaliyah is 6 months old today and is just about sitting up by herself. We still gotta sit close in case she topples over. This week we'll start feeding her food...that'll be fun to see what she likes and dislikes. We tried rice cereal a couple times; one time she liked it, the other time not so much. She puts everything in her mouth, rolled from back to tummy just one time and I think she's starting to reach for me. She's definitely a mommys girl; always has to know where I am and what I'm doing. We said goodbye to the bassinet and sleeps in her crib; still not thru the night, but we're working on it.

First Christmas

I know it's already the 17th of January and I still haven't posted Christmas. I thought I'd have more time...even though I stay at home, there's always something to do, including sleep! Our first Christmas with Aaliyah was so nice. We were able to spend time with the Bolgerts, Schmidts and Fernandezs. Greg had off of work both days which was great and Julie and Ben were home. Aaliyah(and daddy) made me a butterfly pic with her little feet...so special.
New Years she slept by Grandma and Grandpa's house; first night I wasn't with her. She had a rough start over there, but eventually calmed down.
