10 months old

Another month just flew by....Aaliyah is 10 months old.  She's been crawling for a couple weeks now and getting into everything.  Is every baby fascinated with paper?  She just loves magazines!  Being a mom really does get better and better.  I just have a really good happy baby!  She's laughing a lot more, which makes me laugh; it's the cutest thing.  I've been trying to just give her regular food instead of buying baby food.  She like pretty much everything...cottage cheese she's not sure of though.  She enjoys going for walks in the stroller and playing outside on the grass; just gotta make sure she doesn't eat it.  Here's a pic of her standing by the couch; some reason she likes to chew on her pacifier pod.  I helped her up here, but she can pull herself up on a coffee table.

Aaliyah weighed in at 19lb 2oz and 28" long at her 9 month check-up. She's right on track! I actually thought she'd be bigger than that...she's getting so heavy. I lowered the crib today, so proud of myself I did it without Greg's help. When I go get Aaliyah in the morning she's usually on her knees looking out, pretty soon she'll pull herself up. I gave her a new sippy cup, which she loves! She doesn't actually drink the water, just plays with it now, but keeps her busy for a while.
