Colorado Trip

We took our first family vacation to Boulder, CO last week and it was great!!  We visited Uncle Glenn and Sandy.  We went for some walks, out for coffee, lunch, skiing, shopping, butterfly pavilion, carousel and just hung out. I was so nervous for Aaliyah on the airplane, but she slept half the time, and then had her nuk, snacks, stickers and sippee cup to keep busy. Colorado is beautiful; it was great to be outside and get some exercise.  The 2nd day we were there, we got about  6 inches of snow.  We tried to go cross-country skiing at a park nearby with Aaliyah in a sled, but she didn't like it too much.

I love this expression, she does it so much now!  She just can't believe what happened.

My first carousel ride!!  It was a restored carousel from the 1920's in a small town up in the mountains.

She loved it so much!  When it was time to go, she cried and ran up to the gate to go again.

Every Thursday I get to hear all the fun Aaliyah had playing with her cousins.  She played restaurant with Julia; Aaliyah was her customer and loved eating all the different foods(mostly fruits).  Then they played on the exercise ball.  Here's my happy little girl in action.

We all got party tattoos.  Aaliyah didn't like getting it put on too much, but she liked it when we all had one.

Catch up

Can't believe it's been almost a month since her last post.  Here are just some of the things she's been up to.  Playing in closets; she'll put her toys in there and then close the door. 
She had 2 photo shoots; for Boston Store and Kohl's....but she wasn't picked for either.  ) :  Of course I was disappointed cuz she's so much cuter than the other girls(ha!).  But we'll just keep trying if any more come up.  I think we finally got a set nap schedule!  It used to be all over the place, but around 11-1130 she'll go down for her nap.  I still rock her even tho she's 19 months...just don't want her to grow up.  Even tho she wants to; she thinks she can do everything her self.  She'll hold my hand now and bring me to the kitchen when she wants something, Walks up and down the stairs and loves dancing to music!!  She's getting better with her words besides mama for everything; says roro for Lolo...too cute.
