What we're into

Thought I'd just update on what the girls are up to these days.  We've been busy potty training Aaliyah.  It's been 7 weeks already.....taking a lot longer than I thought!!  Some days are accident free and other days there may be 2 or 3.  The great thing is she always stays dry for nap time and bed time.  Her favorite show is Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood or "Tigey" as she calls it.  She enjoys building houses with her blocks, wears her tutu pj's almost every night.  I just got her a new swimsuit for the summer and of course it's pink with a tutu.  She's also into puzzles and being mommy's helper. 
Violet is rolling everywhere.  We just put her in the crib this week; probably should've done that sooner.  She definitely has grown out of the bassinet.  Last week Friday, she got her DocBand put on.  She will wear it for 2-3 months 23 hours a day.  I don't think she minds it too much; it does get sweaty and itchy.  I'm really glad we decided to do it.  Today we have her 6 month check-up.  I haven't tried too much food with her yet, might try to make my own. 

The Domes

Two weekends ago, we went to the Domes.  Every Saturday they have the farmers market there and it's free to get in.  It was fun, but super crowded.  The show dome had a display of trains, which Aaliyah thought was pretty cool.  It was nice being somewhere "tropical" and warm for a little while when it's still soooo cold out.
