Cold January

Todays high is only 5 degrees...it's bitter cold so me and Aaliyah will be staying home.  It's nice though with a fire.  We had a little trouble with our thermostat so Greg made a fire before he went to work.  And it's a good day to catch up on my blog.  Her new thing is hiding her nukie....it's cute.  She'll just laugh and want you to find it.  She loves feeding her babies and animals and changing their diapers.  Here she is having a snack with giraffe.

When we had snow, we would bundle up and play outside, she never wanted to come in....but mom was cold.  I pulled her in this sled, but that didn't last too long.  She of course wanted to go in the swing, so we did that.  And she likes playing with the sticks and picking up rocks.

About a week and a half ago, she took a fall in our closet....I think it was the shoe rack she fell on.  It doesn't look too bad, but her worst so far.  I know there will be plenty more.  Hopefully she'll be looking good for her pics next Sunday.

My baby is all beat up!

Happy New Year

Happy New Year!  I feel so bad I've been neglecting her blog...totally missed the 17 month mark.  But I suppose I don't need to give an update like that every month.  I'll just go with the flow.  The new year has been great; I passed my written board today!!  Just have the practical next week and I'll officially be an esthetician.  My new job is only a couple days a week, so I still get to spend time with Aaliyah.  I am truly thankful I was able to stay home with her...I love every minute of it.  With our next one, I may not be able to do that.
Aaliyah's been sledding a couple times this year already and loves it!!  She gets into everything she can, had to put some more locks on the cabinets and the fridge!!  She loved opening the refrigerator and grabbing whatever she could.  She doesn't do too good with no....she'll throw a tantrum especially when it comes to food.
Here are some pics of her playing with her new doll house from Grandma Linda.
