Wedding

Last weekend, I stood up in my friend Joellyn's wedding.  The weather was beautiful for an outdoor ceremony.  The hall was decorated beautiful with tons of pumpkins, fall flowers and candy.  I just love dressing Aaliyah up and making her all pretty!

Mommy's Graduation

I am officially done with school!!  I can't thank Judy & Pete enough for watching Aaliyah while I was in school full-time.  My last day was today.  Here are some pics from graduation a couple weeks ago.  Looking forward to spending more time with Aaliyah before I start work again.

October

So, it's been too long since my last post.....not sure what's going on.  Guess I've been busy with graduation; I had my ceremony yesterday(pictures to come).  Only have 2 weeks left of school!!  Aaliyah is walking; Grandma Judy calls her the statue of liberty cuz she walks holding her right hand in the air...it's too cute.  I don't know when she actually "walked"....I mean she still crawls a lot, but it was probably the end of Sept.  Here are some pics of her giggling

14 months

Yesterday, Aaliyah was 14 months old and still the cutest thing ever!!  She takes like 10 steps and then falls...making so much progress on walking.  She loves her cooking pot and stirring things, she has a couple of my big spoons that she plays with.  Even tonight we gave her dinner in the living room and tried to use her cooking spoon to eat.  I'll have to get her own little kitchen.  She laughs at everything, loves to eat everything and anything, shakes her head no.  I could go on and on how much fun she is....

Tom Pease

Last night Tom Pease performed at the Mequon Library.  Aaliyah enojyed it I think.....she couldn't run and dance around like the other kids.  But it was fun for her to see kids singing and dancing; she clapped along a little.  I'll have to take her back next year for sure.  I was waiting for him to sing apples and bananas....but I suppose he can't sing all songs from 30 years ago!  I recognized some songs though. Love Grows was the last one he sang and probably my new favorite.

Hot September Day

We've had some really nice weather in September.  The other day when I came home from school, Aaliyah was getting a ride in her wagon.  I just love her little capris!

 

First Brewer Game

Aaliyah went to her first brewer game on Sunday!  We sat outside TGI Fridays for most of the game.  She sat in a booster seat at a high top table instead of a highchair.  She was pretty fussy and we did everything we could to calm her down.  The Brewers did awesome, I think they had almost 5 homeruns!  Dad caught a homerun ball....couldn't believe it, without a glove too.  So, when Aaliyah gets older, she'll have a baseball from her first Brewer game.  We won't tell her it was a Pirate ball though!

It was a lot of work cheering for the Brewers!
